Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has confirmed that Altay Bayindir is set to miss Friday night's FA Cup fourth round clash with Leicester City.
The goalkeeper was the hero the last time United were in cup action with two penalty saves to knock out Arsenal. Bayindir denied Martin Odegaard in normal time before saving Kai Havertz's spot-kick in the shoot-out.
Amorim used Bayindir in the Europa League wins over Rangers and FCSB while he also played all three of United's Carabao Cup games. He was in line to start against Leicester on Friday but that is now in doubt.

Speaking to the club's media team, Amorim confirmed that the Turkey international and Tom Heaton were unlikely to feature. "Altay, I think, he has a problem," the United boss said.
"Tom is also not for this game but he can play the other ones [in the future]. So the rest are ready. The important thing is we are ready to face the game."
It means Andre Onana is likely to retain his spot in goal despite receiving criticism for his role in Crystal Palace's first goal last Sunday. The first-choice shot-stopper was beaten by a looping header before Jean-Philippe Mateta put the ball into an empty net.
Highly-rated Elyh Harrison could be named on the bench once again after his successful loan spell at Chester. The Under-21s face Tottenham at the same time as United's first team meaning any decision made for those in the matchday squad will be influenced by that.
